The wonderful
enchantedstone has volunteered to create and maintain twolf_kinkmeme over at Delicious, since the old account feel by the wayside during the changes of ownership over there.
We have spam filters up, and they automatically screen any comment with a link. This is because we get actual spam comments, and while we don't click on them to find out, they could contain links to download viruses or anything else nasty.
It's not because we don't like your prompt, or because you did anything wrong. Any comment with a link is going to be screened, until we unscreen it. We try to get to the screened comments on the active prompt post once a day, and if your comment doesn't show up immediately know that it eventually will.
This is not directed at any one person--we've had quite a few people message us, and leave five identical comments to try and get past the filters, which...won't work. If you have a link in your comment, it will be screened. Leaving five identical comments will not help.
To sum up: yes, some comments are being screened. Specifically, ones with links.
No, it's not personal.
Yes, it will eventually be unscreened.
No, don't, please don't post the same comment multiple times, because then we have to delete them. On average, and not counting the actual spam comments, it's been 10-15 comments a day to be deleted.

This is round three of the Teen Wolf kink meme! Have fun, but please look at the following before participating:
- Pairings should be in subject lines. This helps threading go more smoothly if people are tracking it.
- Spoilers should be noted in the subject line, if they are necessary.
- Alphabetize pairings/threesomes/moresomes. (e.g. Derek/Scott/Stiles).
- Put warnings in the subject line, and if you are in doubt about whether or not to warn, warn anyway.
- Put [RPF] before RPF prompts. (e.g. [RPF] Colton/Holland)
- For crossover prompts: "[Crossover], Teen Wolf Character(s)/Other Character(s), [Fandom]" (e.g. [Crossover], Derek/Sam, [Supernatural])
- Anyone, everyone, no one? Use "Other." (e.g. Scott/Other)
- Put [GEN] before GEN prompts.
- One prompt per comment, and only one. (e.g. "Scott/Stiles, one of them likes to bite" is one prompt, separate from "Scott/Stiles, that awkward moment when you break up with your best friend" and should be in separate comments.
- This is for new prompts only. Do not post old prompts from previous rounds in this post.
- Link to NSFW images/videos. Don't embed.
- Please don't link to locked material. This includes locked communities, even if membership is open.
- Fills may be posted anonymously or not.
- Fills can be anything: fic, art, vid, fanmix, podfic, etc.
- Prompts may be filled as many times as you like. There are lots of really interesting prompts, and if one inspires you, feel free to fill it again even if someone already has.
Please read the FAQ and Rules to ensure that the warnings are understood, but to sum it up: warnings are necessary, and prompts or fills with triggers that are not warned for should be reported to a mod, or if possible, edited. Mods will leave a comment telling to repost with proper warnings, and then delete the offending comment.
Any fills should be linked to at the Fill List.

Please pimp your favorite prompts here while you're waiting for the second prompt post to open, which will be on Sunday.
- When pimping include a subject, the full text of the prompt, and a link to the original.
- This is NOT where new prompts go, and they will be deleted. They should wait for the new prompt post.
- You can pimp a prompt whether your were the OP or not.
- Discussion of prompts is welcome and encouraged.
- Fills should be made in the original prompt post, which is why the link to the original prompt should be provided.
Or;
Rec your favorite fills from old posts!
- Recs should include the pairing in the subject line, and a link and summary in the body of the comment.
- Discussion of the fics is encouraged!

Hello, all! First, this place is still active. There are new prompts being made, but shortly we will be closing the current prompt post. We'll make a new post to pimp out old and overlooked prompts, but before we do that we'd like to explain our options re: prompts and tracking them via subject lines.
Second, we will be changing the theme yet again, but to a paid one. We have yet to find a theme that will allow subject lines that isn't paid or sponsored. So far as we have found, it seems to be a benefit of users who are logged in with paid accounts, but please correct us if that is wrong.
We've allowed it to force comments to our theme as it will allow subjects even for those who do not have paid accounts. Sorry in that inconveniences anyone.
This Greasemonkey script will allow you to see the subject line, but I believe you have to be logged in.
Third, the option has been discussed that we could move to dreamwidth. That would be great, but we'd have to pay for accounts over there to move the community, and the fandom is largely livejournal based anyway.
Poll #1810626 Poll to gauge interest in the options that we have:
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 51
Edit: This account is a paid one, so the subject lines should be available for everyone. I can confirm that those who have used them in comments to this entry have come to my email account as part of the subject.

Do we continue with this theme, to allow comments for those logged in?
View Answers
Yes, it seems like the best option.
No, there are other options that I will explain in the next question.
What are our other options, while staying on livejournal?
Should we suck it up and pay to move to dreamwidth and import the community?
View Answers
Yes, because it is the way to get it back to the way it was.
No, because the community is largely based on livejournal.

Don't cause wank. Don't do it. Of course you firmly believe you are right and the other person is wrong, but there is one great big thing you must remember: this is the internet. Not everyone will agree with you. Yes, sexism is bad, and it should never be ignored. Yes, this is a kink meme, and there is a strict no kink shaming policy.
Just because this is a Teen Wolf kink meme does not mean that there should be dogpiling going on, though. Leave it to the mods to deal with issues and problems.
As for the prompt in question and all replies to it: they have been screened, not deleted. We do think there was casual sexism in the prompt and that is why it is no longer visible. We do not wish for the discussion about it to continue, whether or not kink shaming did occur (and it is the mods' personal opinions that it didn't. We saw people taking exception to the implications and sexism of the prompt, not the prompt itself.)
We are trying to take all precautions to make this a fun and comfortable place, but with its very nature it cannot be a safe one. Let the mods deal with any other situations that arise, please, and thank you to those that called our attention to it so quickly.
To recap: let the mods deal with it before it dissolves into wank. This was not true wank, we realize, because we headed it off (so to speak). Don't let it get there.

It's come to the attention of the mod team that there are rude and insulting comments being left in the meme. We thought that we should address that here before we go to warn and then delete those comments.
No kink shaming, and this meme is not the place for your witty commentary. Don't make fun of other people's comments or their prompts, or their typos. If you feel like doing that, do the thing that decent people do and leave those comments inside your head.
I realize that while you're doing it, anons, it's under the protection of anonymity. That's fine, until the mod team really gets pissed off and decides to turn on IP address logging while anonymous commenting is on, which is the next step we'll take. If that happens we'll be able to delete and set bans on the IP addresses of the rude and uncivil anons in question based on their IP address.
To sum it up: be civil, be polite, be enthusiastic; don't be rude or make derogatory comments to other anons about their kinks, their comments, or anything else.
A personal thank you to the individuals who have PM'd the mod team and left comments my screened entry: thank you for your help and your patience, and for caring about the meme enough to do so.
